THERE will be no more tears in heaven. There will be no need for tears. Here on earth we shed many for the pain we give each other. The fallenness of this world leads us into hopelessness. The tears relieve some of that pain. HOPE is life to our spirit; the life blood of our soul. Dreams spring from HOPE–ideas with wings. Hope is an eternal spring that feeds your life. FOUND in the pages of God’s word.
SOMETIMES I HAVE A HARD TIME SLEEPING AT NIGHT AND I PLAY SOLITAIRE AND DO SIMPLE CROSSWORDS. I NEVER EXPECT TO LEARN ANYTHING BUT INSTEAD TIRE ENOUGH TO SLEEP. HOWEVER ONE OF THE DEFINITIONS GRABBED ME LAST NIGHT. THE WORD WAS “SAVED” AND THE DEFINITION WAS DELIVERED FROM DANGER. WOW I WAS AMAZED. THIS HIT ME HARD. SAVED FROM DANGER– JESUS SAVED ME FROM THE PIT OF HELL IN THIS LIFE AND FOREVER.
SUNDAY OUR PASTOR’S wife, a pastor, preached and for the first time I understood what it means to be credited with righteousness as God credited Abraham. Romans 4:23-24. When we are credited with righteousness we are given what God gave Jesus. His power. God gave Abraham the gospel before it happened. Galatians 3:8. I didn’t even see this and I have read the New Testament several times. But there it was. Our human spirit wants to close out the goodness of God so we must always be refreshed by the word: by reading His word and hearing His word, we are renewed. I probably have the Spirit of Christ in me but I don’t know I have the Spirit of Christ. This is the battle.
IN November of last year I began to be under serious attack. A very painful months followed. Physical problems began to besiege me. But God. In late January I had taken some pictures of myself, for the first time in 20 years I let my hair grow long and it was getting curlier. As I was going through the pictures I was going to delete one and something told me not to. When I enlarged it on my 23 inch computer screen, there above my head was an angel. It was amazing. God’s blessing to let me know He is watching out for me. In the deepest pain God gives me a very special blessing. This angel is very obvious. She has facial features and a feathered wing on the right side and a wing on the left that appears to have been moving. She can be seen shining, in white, and as you move forward, she is ice blue.
OVERCOMER—in the middle of family problems I walk closer to God and He comes nearer to me. I cannot describe what God has done for me in my deepest pain. The realization I have is spiritual and English cannot do it justice. He surrounds me with friends. People offer to do things for me like never before. God is loving me through His people. Through faith He gives me HOPE and through HOPE He brings me JOY. I am an OVERCOMER.
The liberal left is trying to stamp out Christianity but people who know Jesus, know He is real. There is nothing more uplifting than knowing Jesus really exists. Knowing Him in your heart, you could never walk away. Jesus is God and He came to earth to set us free. We just have to trust God and love people.
PETER SAID, “GO AWAY FROM ME LORD” IN LUKE 5:8. WHY DID PETER TELL JESUS TO GO AWAY FROM HIM? I BELIEVE PETER FELT UNWORTHY OF BEING NEAR JESUS BECAUSE JESUS WAS GOD AND ALTHOUGH PETER MAY NOT HAVE REALIZED THAT: HE FELT HIS PERFECTION AND PETER, HIMSELF FELT LESS THAN THAT. I, MYSELF WOULD RATHER BE NEAR JESUS, BECAUSE OF HIS PERFECTION. I KNOW I WILL NOT HAVE IT UNTIL I COME FACE TO FACE WITH HIM, BUT I CONTINUALLY SEEK IT.
TRUST IN THE LORD: TRUST IS A SMALL WORD, ONLY 5 LETTERS WITH A BIG, BIG, BIG MEANING. TRUST IN GOD IS TO PUT YOUR HOPE IN HIM AND EXPECT THE BEST AND THEN LET GO OF IT. IT SOUNDS SIMPLE BUT IT’S NOT EASY. IT TAKES PRACTICE AND WATCHING GOD WORK IN YOUR LIFE. TRUST IS THE ULTIMATE PAYOFF WITH GOD. KNOWING GOD WILL DO WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU. ROMANS 8:28 IS PROOF OF WHAT TRUST BRINGS: AND WE KNOW THAT IN ALL THINGS GOD WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM, WHO HAVE BEEN CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
PAUL SAYS: FORGETTING WHAT IS BEHIND AND STRAINING TOWARD WHAT IS AHEAD. I PRESS ON TOWARD THE GOAL TO WIN THE PRIZE FOR WHICH GOD HAS CALLED ME HEAVENWARD IN CHRIST JESUS. I WANT SO BADLY TO PRESS ON TOWARD THE GOAL TO WIN THE PRIZE FOR WHICH GOD HAS CALLED ME. FOR SO MANY YEARS I DID SO MUCH MINISTRY AND I MISS IT. I WAS SO CONTENTED WORKING TOWARD THE GOAL FOR GOD. NOW MANY YEARS LATER I STRUGGLE TO BE SURE I AM DOING WHAT GOD HAS CALLED ME TO DO. GOD IS SO AMAZING HE CONSTANTLY PUTS PEOPLE IN MY LIFE WHEN I NEED ENCOURAGEMENT.
JESUS SAID IN MATHEW10:23 “I TELL YOU THE TRUTH YOU WILL NOT FINISH GOING THROUGH THE CITIES OF ISRAEL BEFORE THE SON OF MAN COMES.” ISRAEL, I THINK, IS MORE ON THE MAP THAN IT HAS EVER BEEN. THANKS TO OUR PRESIDENT WE ARE STANDING WITH ISRAEL. IT’S NO ACCIDENT HE WAS ELECTED AT THIS TIME AND HAS A JEWISH SON-IN-LAW. THE MEDIA PUTS OUR PRESIDENT DOWN CONSTANTLY. WE KNOW THAT THE WRITER OF PSALMS WASN’T PERFECT EITHER BUT GOD USED HIM, MIGHTILY. I PRAY FOR OUR PRESIDENT TO FOLLOW GOD AND BRING OUR COUNTRY BACK.
